Have really wanted to push myself in developing my drawing. So I started another blog where I illustrate scenes or situations where my drawings reflect the blurb/story I share. My goal is to update 1-2 times a week.

Will be posting more work in my portfolio and continue to cull the pieces I feel no longer show my range and strengths.

Busy Times Are Here Again

Work seems to come in waves. Super slow to super busy. I prefer being busy. I like to pop on some awesome music and handle the chaos as it happens around me. What's this, send this, revise this. Makes my day go super fast. And that is just how I like it.

Rainy days and mondays

Another Monday here and the weather continues to be crazy. Goes from cold and rainy to hot and sometimes windy.

I actually enjoy the cold and rainy days. So on days like this I like to grab my sweater and take a small stroll on my break. It's nice to get fresh air and working so close the mountains doesn't hurt either.

Quick pen and pencil exercise. Saw this great picture of a very regal looking dog. But I love how the flipped ear makes it endearing. Great photo. Hoping to make my way to the zoo soon and get some animal studies in.

Always nice to add new work to my website. I am working on uploading more of my layout work and illustrations. I have definitely done quite a bit in the last year. I'm especially excited about my new product illustrations.

So this, like anything is a process so I still have a ways to go. hoping to have all updates completed within the next few days. And hey I remembered how to use html to make paragraphs so I appear more articulate.

This is looking to be a interesting year. I definitely have professional and artistic aspirations that I am hoping to accomplish. Only time will tell. Also I am hoping I will be able to add to my portfolio more this coming year. I will be working on finessing the portfolio section of this site, maybe kick the tires and change things around, so please visit again soon.
